Back to the hotel… well almost! A few minutes walk from the Place du Pin, hides one of the key places where to taste one of the local culinary treasures: the socca! If you have some energy left, grab a piece of pissaladière to take away, - Chez René Socca, 2 Rue Miralheti - a sort of pizza covered with a bed of onions and climb to the top of the castle hill. From here the view of the city is breathtaking and the sunsets majestic. From old Nice you will find several accesses to go up there.

Finally, go back down by the car access to arrive not far from the Hôtel du Pin.

Built in the middle of the 17th century, it is undoubtedly one of the city's most remarkable Baroque monuments.
