Le Negresco
It is the most legendary hotel on the French Riviera. A colorful Belle Époque gem, elegantly installed on the Promenade des Anglais for over a century. The hotel designed for Henri Negrescu in 1913 by the architect Edouard Niermans was bought in 1957 by Jeanne Augier.
Here, the Eiffel glass roof of the Salon Royal and its Baccarat chandelier of 4.60 meters and 16,800 crystals stand alongside no less than 6,000 works of art, from the 17th century to the present day.
The hotel-museum as extravagant as its late owner can be amused to have known Salvador Dali walking his cheetah there. Do not hesitate to go for a coffee at 37 Promenade des Anglais, you will undoubtedly feel the vibrations of this unique place.
